Minnesota Trimalleolar Fracture Attorney

A trimalleolar fracture is one of the most serious types of broken ankle injuries, and is common when someone is involved in a motor vehicle or slip and fall accident.  A trimalleolar fracture involves three bone surfaces: the lateral malleolus, the medial malleolus, and the posterior malleolus.  Surgery is often required to treat a trimalleolar fracture, with screws and pins being inserted to align and stabilize the ankle.  In addition to a long recovery time, the healing process also includes wearing a cast for 6-8 weeks and not putting any kind of pressure on the ankle and foot.  Additionally, there can be complications associated with a trimalleolar fracture such as bone infections, nerve damage and arthritis.

If you have been the victim of a motor vehicle accident due to someone else’s negligence and have sustained a trimalleolar fracture, it is important that you seek legal representation.  Our personal injury attorneys at Tarshish Cody, PLC have extensive personal injury law experience, and we will fight to get you the compensation you deserve.  Contact Tarshish Cody’s personal injury attorneys today at 612-808-8999 or fill out the free case evaluation form.
