Minnesota Skull Fracture Attorney

A break in the cranial bones of the skull, most commonly known as a skull fracture, can be caused by a severe strike to the head and results in an injury to the brain.  Skull fractures are identified in four ways:

  • Simple Fracture – a broken bone but the skin surrounding it remains in tact
  • Linear Skull Fracture – a thin break in the bone with no splintering or distortion
  • Depressed Skull Fracture – the broken bone is pushed in toward the brain
  • Compound Fracture – cranial bone is splintered and the skin is punctured

Skull fracture symptoms can include headache, nausea, disorientation and a stiff neck.

A fracture to the skull is a serious injury that can cause damage to the brain, but unfortunately treatment for a skull fracture can be quite expensive.  If you suffered a skull fracture at the cost of someone else’s mistake, that individual needs to be held responsible.
